Jerald Schnoor has received the Outstanding Achievements in Environmental Science & Technology Award: The Americas Region from the American Chemical Society (ACS). ACS is one of the world’s largest scientific organizations with membership of over 151,000 in 140 countries.

James Ankrum, has been selected for a Fulbright Scholar Award in Ireland for the 2022-2023 academic year. Ankrum will be working with colleagues at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), to develop new tools in the field of regenerative medicine for surgeons to promote healing of large and complicated wounds.

Christopher Ruben, a PhD student in the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, has received a two-year PhRMA Foundation Predoctoral Fellowship.

Donald Anderson, professor of orthopedics and rehabilitation in the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine; Gary Christensen, professor of electrical and computer engineering; and Harriet Nembhard, dean of the College of Engineering and University of Iowa and Roy J.
