UI to Host 3,000 Students at Robotics Super-regional Championship March 17-19

The University of Iowa College of Engineering, Rockwell Collins, Inc., and the Center for Energy Workforce Development will welcome more than 3,000 high school and middle school students from across the United States when they host the 2015-2106 North FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Super Regional Championship robotics competition.

David Cwiertny, associate professor of civil and environmental engineering, associate faculty research engineer at IIHR--Hydroscience & Engineering, and director of the Environmental Policy Research Program, Public Policy Center, has been named a Congressional Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) for 2016-2017.
