ECE alumnus, Yuanqiu Mo, was recently named one of five finalists for the Young Author Prize for the paper he presented at IFAC World Congress 2020 in Germany this July. Mo graduated with his Ph.D. in electrical engineering in December 2019. 

Harriet B. Nembhard, the new dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Iowa, emphasizes the transformative impact of engineering and the importance of creating a sense of belonging within the engineering community. She envisions producing globally aware and socially responsible engineers who will make positive contributions to society.
