The Water and the Environment program explores the fundamental and applied dimensions of environmental systems and processes across a range of scales. Students gain hands-on experience through active participation in the research, analysis, and design of solutions to real-world environmental challenges.
Infrastructure Engineering
The Infrastructure Engineering program focuses on structural and transportation systems within the built environment. Students engage in research and education in areas such as infrastructure system optimization, structural health monitoring, highway pavement materials and rehabilitation, and surface transportation infrastructure. The program also offers opportunities for a practicum with engineering professionals, allowing students to contribute to the design of real-world structural systems.
