CEE faculty are active researchers and leaders in several of the University of Iowa’s flagship research centers and institutes. These include IIHR—Hydroscience and Engineering and the Iowa Technology Institute, as well as interdisciplinary programs such as the Iowa Superfund Research Program and the Center for Health Effects of Environmental Contamination. Through these efforts, our faculty contribute significantly to collaborative, high-impact research that advances science, informs policy, and addresses critical challenges in water, infrastructure, environmental quality, and public health.
