The Electrical Engineering (EE) minor provides students with a strong foundation in the principles and applications of modern electrical and electronic systems. Through coursework in circuits, signals, electromagnetics, and digital systems, students gain analytical and problem-solving skills that complement majors across engineering, computing, and the physical sciences. The minor also offers opportunities to explore advanced topics such as embedded systems, communications, controls, robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence (AI). By combining theory with hands-on experience, the EE minor prepares students to design, analyze, and integrate intelligent and interconnected technologies that power today’s innovations.

The course requirements for the proposed minor with course numbers, course titles, semester hours (pre-requisite courses should be noted):

The EE minor will require a minimum of 15sh of course work.
