On September 12, 2019, CEE students and faculty member Rick Fosse received awards at the annual meeting of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

The meeting was held in Ames, IA.

Recipients included:

Rick Fosse received the ASCE Faculty Advisor Award the region (ASCE Region 7)

Emily King was honored as the University of Iowa ASCE Outstanding Senior

Eric Schaffer and Brian Shanahan received Iowa Section ASCE Scholarship.
