The College of Engineering at the University of Iowa has joined KEEN: The Kern Entrepreneurial Engineering Network, a partnership of more than 60 colleges and universities across the United States focused on reaching “all undergraduate engineering students with an entrepreneurial mindset (EM) so they can create personal, economic, and societal value through a lifetime of meaningful work.”

Troy Brunk, who earned a degree in industrial engineering at the University of Iowa in 1992, has been named president of Collins Aerospace, an aerospace and defense giant that is among the largest employers in Iowa.

Capture Your Research is an image competition where students, faculty, and staff can submit one image that captures the essence of their research. They will be judged on originality/creativity, the appeal of the image, relationship between the image and their research, and the clarity of the written description. Suggested dress code: smart casual.
