University of Iowa engineering students, supported by the Operator Performance Laboratory, took to the Georgia sky to capture data that could enhance the ability to remotely detect wildfires.

Join us in welcoming Dr. Jionghua (Judy) Jin, professor within the Department of Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan, to our graduate seminar. Dr. Jin will present her seminar titled, “Data Fusion Research to Empower Smart Manufacturing,” on Thursday, February 29, from 3:30-4:20 p.m. in 4030 SC. There will be a small reception in 3307 SC from 3:00-3:30 p.m.

Xuan Song, an associate professor of industrial and systems engineering at the University of Iowa, has been selected for funding by the Department of the Air Force’s Young Investigator Program.
