The College of Engineering and the University of Iowa offer a wide range of academic resources to support student academic achievement. One of the most important resources on campus are office hours. Instructors and TAs are best equipped to answer questions related to course content. Within the walls of the Seamans Center for the Engineering Arts and Sciences, students will find the Hanson Center for Communication, the Lichtenberger Engineering Library, and Engineering Tutoring, all of which offer free support resources to engineering students. Students will find many additional academic resources across campus, including private tutoring, supplemental instruction, and subject-based help labs.

Students may also utilize College of Engineering academic peer advisors to answer questions or concerns. They offer advice on their respective majors, course combinations, and course loads and share their personal experiences of their journey to a career in engineering.
