What is one piece of advice you would give to an incoming freshman?

Always surround yourself to people who you want to better, and who will better you. Hold your friends accountable and push each other to succeed. 

What organizations outside the college of engineering do you belong to?

University of Iowa Army ROTC, Campus Symphony Orchestra

How are you an "engineer ... and something more"?

I am an "engineer ... and something more" because I am involved in various different activities on campus! I am a cadet in the Army ROTC, training throughout college to one day commission as an officer.  

What is your favorite part about being a student at The University of Iowa?

My favorite part about being a student at The University of Iowa is the strong sense of community and Hawkeye spirit.

What has been your favorite course?

My favorite course so far has been Design for Manufacturing. I really enjoy learning about and using the various manufacturing processes and getting hands on experience. 

What do you enjoy doing in your free time at The University of Iowa?

I enjoy spending time with friends, especially if its at a football game or other sporting event!
