Lizzy Zimmerman, a senior majoring in both chemical engineering and biochemistry, is featured in an on-line interview with John Circci, a trustee of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Foundation.

Zimmerman is president of the AIChE Student Chapter at the University of Iowa.

Zimmerman has helped create and led a number of activities for her chapter, including several Kids Day Camps, which her chapter hosts annually as day-long events dedicated to K-5 STEM outreach in the local community.
