Hosin “David” Lee, a civil and environmental engineering professor, has been invited as a keynote speaker at two premier international conferences in his research field, which focuses on improving sustainability of asphalt pavement.
The 8th International Conference on Bituminous Materials and Pavements is in Thessaloniki, Greece on June 12-14. There Lee will deliver a speech titled, “Cool Mix Asphalt: Redefining Warm Mix Asphalt.”
The 10th International Conference on Maintenance and Rehabilitation of Pavements is in Guimaraes, Portugal on July 24-26. Lee will present a talk titled, “Comprehensive Evaluation of Asphalt Pavement Recycling Strategies.”
Lee joined the College of Engineering in 1999 and directs the Laboratory for Advanced Construction Technology (LACT). He is also a faculty affiliate of the Iowa Technology Institute.
