Two faculty and a staff member of the College of Engineering were recognized with Career Impact Awards by the Pomerantz Career Center. 

The Career Impact Awards recognize and celebrate award-winning students, staff, faculty, and business partners who have gone above and beyond to provide University of Iowa students with career resources, guidance, and opportunities in support of career success.

The winners include:

David Murhammer, PhD, Professor, Chemical & Biochemical Engineering, Researcher– Faculty and Staff Career Impact Award, nominated by Hallie Gates, Student

 

Yong Chen, PhD, Professor & Interim DEO, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Researcher Iowa Technology Institute - Faculty and Staff Career Impact Award, nominated by Trenton Hohn, Student

 

Amanda Jensen, Chemical and Biochemical Engineering – Student Supervisor of the Year
