Students involved in the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) at the University of Iowa got the opportunity to tour the National Advanced Driving Simulator (NADS) research facility.

Led by director of NADS, Professor Daniel V McGehee, students learned the human factor focuses on understanding human-vehicle interactions to improve safety and understanding of driving technology. Students got an up-close look at the NADS-1, NADS-2, miniSim, and on-road vehicles.
