Congratulations to biomedical engineering doctoral student Srivats Sarathy, who was selected by the UI Council on Teaching to receive a 2019-2020 Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award.

Srivat's award letter noted that “your philosophy of teaching and learning, your classroom evaluations, and the strong support you garnered from students and faculty, made your nomination stand out from among the many superb candidates and clearly demonstrated your excellence in teaching. While your students have known of your skill and devotion for some time, I am pleased that your accomplishments are being formally recognized by the University.”

Awardees receive a $1,000 check and a certificate.
