The 18th Annual Research Open House will be held Thursday, April 2, from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm in and around the 2nd floor lobby (New Annex) of the Seamans Center. We expect to have over 100 registered poster presenters, and we are currently looking for volunteers (faculty, staff, alumni and grad students) to help with the judging.
We need your help! If you are available for one hour that day, you can sign up to be a poster judge by clicking here. You can sign up for one (or more) time slots; typically, you are assigned 3-4 posters to judge in one hour.
It is our sincere hope that every student could count on having a minimum of one faculty member to help evaluate their poster. We also need staff, grad students and industry representation to help provide a balance. No engineering experience is required.
All judges will be invited to the Student Awards and Recognition luncheon on Friday, April 3, from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm at the Hotel Vetro in downtown Iowa City where we will provide lunch and celebrate the success of our students.
