KCRG-TV, Cedar Rapids, featured a report on the unveiling of the 2018 Baja Car, designed and built by the University of Iowa chapter of the Society of Automotive Engineers.

Car 33, named "The Patriot," is the 2018 National Competition Vehicle. It combines the team's newest designs and is a showcase of the engineering knowledge taught at the University of Iowa's College of Engineering.

The team will compete beginning May 17 in Pittsburgh, KS.
