The Daily Iowan reported on the April 21 IIHR-hosted Earth Day event during which about 70 community members were invited to come pick up trash along the Iowa River.

Cleanup volunteers helped pick up trash from the banks of the Iowa River as part of an annual environmental awareness activity.
