The College of Engineering will present special free showings February 1 and 2 of "Dream Big: Engineering Our World," a film about engineering that takes viewers on a journey of discovery from the world’s tallest building to a bridge higher than the clouds. Along the way, the audiences witness how today’s engineers are shaping the world of tomorrow.
The film will be shown at 6:30 p.m. February 1 in W10 John Pappajohn Business Building and at 7:30 p.m. February 2 in W151 John Pappajohn Business Building.
Narrated by Academy Award (R) winner Jeff Bridges, "Dream Big: Engineering Our World" is a first-of-its-kind film that transforms how we think about engineering. From the Great Wall of China and the world's tallest buildings, to underwater robots, solar cars and smart, sustainable cities, "Dream Big" celebrates the human ingenuity behind engineering marvels big and small, and reveals the heart that drives engineers to create better lives for people around the world.
