KGAN-TV covered the first Femineer Showcase December 6.

The program is implemented in local schools and communities and provides grades 5-12 with the opportunity to visit the University of Iowa and participate in a UIowa WiSE Femineers (TM) Showcase. The program currently has three 30-hour modules which introduce girls to computer science, coding, and computer/electrical engineering.  Students also explore opportunities in Creative Robotics, Wearable Technology, and Pi Robotics.
