Services were held Sunday, January 15, 2017, for Dan Branson, College of Engineering professor emeritus and Legacy of Iowa Engineering member.

Branson, 88, of Iowa City, died January 9, 2017, at Oaknoll Retirement Residence.

Branson, who served as professor of civil and environmental engineering from 1963-1993 was inducted into the College of Engineering's Legacy of Iowa Engineering in 2011 (https://www.engineering.uiowa.edu/alumni/awards/honor-wall/dan-branson).  The Legacy recognizes faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of the College of Engineering who made exceptional historical contributions toward advancing the College in teaching, research, or service during their engagement with the College.
