Allison Kindig, a senior in industrial engineering, is featured on the Big Ten Network in a "Student Section" series, titled "BTN LiveBIG: Hawkeye Homecoming Queen takes on engineering,

international aid, and triathlons."  The series focuses on students at Big Ten universities who aren't waiting until they get out into the "real world to make a difference.  Instead, they're working together to creat positive, meaningful change.
