The Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering will host Senior Project Presentations on Thursday, May 9, at the Seamans Center for the Engineering Arts and Sciences.

Eight mechanical engineering design projects sponsored by Caterpillar, Inc., John Deere, Waterloo; John Deere, Springfield; John Deere, Moline; Rockwell Collins; Rock Island Arsenal and PRVN Consultants will be presented. 

The Virtual International Project Teams will present improved lead time setting/human resource allocation, a project sponsored by Rockwell Collins, and Solar cooker – Heat battery and tracking mechanism, sponsored by The University of Iowa.

Four Program for Enhanced Design Experience teams sponsored by John Deere and The University of Iowa.

Operational System Design Projects were sponsored by Allsteel, John Deere, Midwest Metal Products and Rock Island Arsenal. 

Alumni serving as judges for the projects are Jack Feng, Jarrod Moss, Gregg Machetta, Thomas Surma, Eric Bauswell, Andrew Lee, Michael P. Maley, P. Russell price, Daniel Hanson, Derrick Richmann, Ross Wilcoxon and Tim Marler.
