A Little More About Me

Who is your favorite or most impactful professor and why?

The most favorite professor that I've had is Beth Rundlett. She organizes her courses so well which makes it easy to mimic her organization with my assignments in class. She teaches with enthusiasm and precision. I am lucky enough to have her in several courses.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time at The University of Iowa?

The University of Iowa has an amazing downtown area that hosts tons of events throughout the year. I like to explore the endless stores, restaurants, bars, etc. in downtown Iowa City with my friends and family.

What has been your favorite or most impactful course?

My most impactful course that I have taken is Heat & Mass Transfer with Prof. Nuxoll. This is known as "the most difficult" course in the Chemical Engineering curriculum, so this experience allowed me to enhance my work ethic. It taught me to work more with other students and ask as many questions as possible.

Is there something else you'd like to tell us about yourself?

I spent my summer working at BASF in Malcom, IA. I was an Operations Engineer Intern which was an amazing opportunity to experience one of many career types that I can look forward to after college.
