Role at the College of Engineering: Admin Service Specialist with IIHR—Hydroscience and Engineering
How long have you worked at the College of Engineering?
I began my employment as the admin service specialist with IIHR - Hydroscience and Engineering in November 2023.
What are your hobbies?
I am a purveyor of many hobbies, but the ones I have stuck to the longest are travel, landscape/gardening, card crafting, board games, and most recently crochet! But my #1 hobby is my sweet dog, Birdie!
What is your favorite place to visit in the area?
Prior to moving to Iowa, we spent many mini vacations in Iowa City (thanks Allegiant for the cheap flights!), and every time we would visit Micky's Irish Pub for a burger and beer, shop around Ragstock or RayGun, and take a walk around Lake MacBride. These places still remain my favorites!
What is important to you about your role on ESAC?
ESAC is a great group of fellow colleagues and allows many opportunities for community involvement, collaboration, and communication amongst engineering staff.
