Our Mission

Graduate students in the College of Engineering at the University of Iowa are engaged in research that transforms our world through engineering for human health, the environment, and emerging technologies. Our college has a long history of preparing students for careers in industry, government, and academia, equipping them with the practical skills, expert knowledge, and an ethical foundation to create innovative solutions for engineering's grand challenges.

Our college is committed to welcoming and nurturing all learners, regardless of background, identity, and lived experience. In recognition of our commitment to foster an inclusive community, our college was selected to be recipient of a Bronze Award of the American Society for Engineering Education Diversity Recognition Program.
