A Little More About Me
What is one piece of advice you would give to an incoming freshman?
Surround yourself with friends who share your goals. They'll be there to cheer you on when things are going well and to give you a boost when you're struggling and need some motivation.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time at The University of Iowa?
I love working out and spending time with my friends!
Is there something else you'd like to tell us about yourself?
I am from Colorado and I absolutely love being outside and skiing.
What is your favorite part about being a student at The University of Iowa?
My favorite part of being a student here is the community and school spirit. I feel like everyone here is very inclusive and wants to see you succeed. I also love game days and seeing the whole school come together to support the Hawkeye football team.
Have you done any research with a professor? If so, what department was the professor and what was your research about?
I did research with Dr. Mu in the BME department. The overall topic was using silk fibroins for respiratory bioengineering. I worked with developing different concentrations of silk solution for 3D printing.
