Now that the summer is well underway, recent ISE graduates reflect on their experience in Senior Design and their time as undergraduate students at Iowa.

Abbey Floyd shares, “Senior design has taught me so much about the industry and has prepared me for my upcoming job. Working with an outside company gave me an inside look at what to expect day to day when I begin in the industry. It also gave me leadership skills, as we worked in the same team for the entire semester. 

Industrial engineering has given me the best friends a person could ask for. I appreciate the collaborative nature of the program that allows for friendships to form. All of the industrial engineering professors I have had truly care about me succeeding and their passion shows through in every lesson they give. 

I will truly miss every peer and professor I have met in my four years here at Iowa. However, I look forward to beginning a new chapter in my life.”
