A Little More About Me

What is one piece of advice you would give to an incoming freshman?

Use your resources. Whether that be engineering tutoring, office hours, TAs, or even a friend who understands the material well don't be afraid to ask for help.

How are you an "engineer ... and something more"?

I am an engineer but I am also a leader. I am the Vice Regent of Theta Tau Professional Engineering Fraternity and the Social Chair for SWE.

Is there something else you'd like to tell us about yourself?

This past spring and summer I completed a coop with Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids in Flight Systems IPT.

What is your favorite part about being a student at The University of Iowa?

I love the strong community in Engineering and the opportunities that come with being on a Big Ten campus.

Who is your favorite professor and why?

Dr. Justin Garvin, he explains material in an easy to understand way. He also provides real world examples to help you to better connect with the material.

What has been your favorite course?

Thermodynamics

What do you enjoy doing in your free time at The University of Iowa?

I enjoy painting, reading, walking and playing with my dog, and hanging out with my friends.
