The purpose of the Hyperloop at Iowa is to bring together students interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math into a collaborative, technical team that builds and develops a model Hyperloop pod. Students will have opportunities to get hands-on experience in an interdisciplinary environment and apply the knowledge they have gained in the classroom. In doing so, students will be able to further develop their abilities in areas beneficial to their future career  (i.e. communication, collaboration, technical skills, etc.) and play a role in the development of a cutting-edge engineering application.
