Dominic Channon, a University of Iowa mechanical engineering student, has won a scholarship for a video explaining the perspectives he's gained about the insurance industry during his internship with the Direct X Group. The company nominated Channon for the Insure Your Future Leadership program. 

Channon's video was won of five selected for an Insure Your Future scholarship worth $2,000. The winners will be acknowledged at the Iowa Insurance Hall of Fame Dinner on October 6, 2026, at the Meadows Conference Center in Altoona, Iowa.
