Graduate students studying chemical and biochemical engineering have been recognized with awards and fellowships through the University of Iowa Graduate College.
The awards are as follows:
Weizhi Deng: Post-Comprehensive Research Award. Deng is a member of the Atmospheric and Environmental Research Lab directed by Prof. Jun Wang. This fellowship program provides an opportunity for advanced PhD students to benefit from protected and supported time to pursue their scholarly research activities. The fellowship is intended to recognize students with distinguished academic achievement during their early graduate training.
Prasoon Kumar: Ballard & Seashore Fellowship. Kumar is a member of Prof. Syed Mubeen's research lab. This fellowship program provides an opportunity for PhD students to benefit from a final semester of protected and supported time to focus on completing their scholarly research activities and the writing of their dissertations.
Saeideh Mohammadi: Ballard & Seashore Fellowship. Mohammadi is a member of Prof. Charlie Stanier's research lab. This fellowship program provides an opportunity for PhD students to benefit from a final semester of protected and supported time to focus on completing their scholarly research activities and the writing of their dissertations.
