Students are invited to attend Discovery Day, hosted by the Roy J. Carver Department of Biomedical Engineering, on Thursday, September 25. This event is designed to demystify the field and help students explore professional pathways in biomedical engineering through four dynamic panels:

  • 3:30 to 4:45 p.m., Phillips Hall 100: What does it mean to be a biomedical engineer? Hear from recent grads.

  • 3:30-4:45 p.m., Lindquist N150: Pathways to health professions: Insights from pre-health advisors.

  • 5:00-6:15 p.m., Seamans Center 3505: Getting hired: Network with industry professionals.

  • 5:00-6:15 p.m., Seamans Center 2229: Preparing for graduate school: Advice from BME faculty.

Students can submit anonymous questions for panelists — so bring your curiosity.
