University of Iowa engineering graduate students have been selected for the 2024-25 Iowa Innovation Leadership Fellowship program through the Iowa Office of Innovation. The students are studying chemical and biomedical engineering.

Among the 11 graduate trainees selected to participate in the 2024-2025 Iowa Innovation Leadership Fellowship program, four are students in the College of Engineering.

The 10-month fellowship focuses on advancing the Iowa medical technology ecosystem, whether solving unmet needs in healthcare, applying skills to support an inventor trying to bring a product to market, making industry connections, or acting as an ambassador to those interested in innovation. The program introduces participants to the policies, programs, resources, and factors that influence addressing societies unmet needs.

The next round of application will open in Spring 2025.
