We are pleased to announce that Xuan Mu, assistant professor of biomedical engineering, has been awarded a new grant for the project "Proteinaceous Silk Fibroin Membrane for Modeling Cystic Fibrosis Airway Epithelium." The grant is sponsored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for the total amount of $164,399.

This grant will support the development of a new model for studying cystic fibrosis airway epithelium, which could lead to new insights and advancements in the treatment of this disease.
