The University of Iowa Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering held its Spring Senior Design Night May 3.

Mechanical and Industrial Engineering seniors involved in 23 teams presented their projects to judges at the Main Lounge of the Iowa Memorial Union.

Project advisors are Matias Perret, lecturer, mechanical and industrial engineering; John Mirth, professor of instruction, mechanical and industrial engineering; and Tom Schnell, professor of mechanical and industrial engineering and director of the Operator Performance Laboratory, a unit of the UI Center for Computer-Aided Design.
