The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department will hold its annual Modern Marvels Exhibit, featuring amazing technological feats of students in senior design, internet of things, software engineering, and embedded systems classes. Exhibits are interactive and students are eager to show the cutting-edge techniques they bring to the marketplace. Refreshments are free and plentiful.

The exhibits will be on display from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. Friday, May 8, at the “Modern Marvels” exhibition at the Second Floor Ballroom, Iowa Memorial Union.

Presented by the University of Iowa College of Engineering Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the exhibition includes demonstrations for middle and high school students, business representatives, alumni and anyone with an interest in locally grown technology.

Upper-level undergraduate electrical engineering students will demonstrate projects from senior design, embedded systems, and software engineering.

The event highlights this year’s senior design projects from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Senior Software Engineering Projects, and the  top projects from the department's Embedded Systems course.
