Engineering alumna Becky Svatos, P.E. (BSCE 1982) was promoted to environmental and urban design market leader and elected vice president at Stanley Consultants, Inc., Muscatine, IA.

Her responsibilities include creating and implementing a comprehensive market strategy inclusive of business development and program/project execution for the company’s environmental and urban planning services.

A licensed professional engineer in seven states, Svatos joined the company in 2002 and has 31 years of professional experience.  She is a founding member of the Iowa Chapter of Engineers Without Borders, and is a member of the Society of Women Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers, and The Nature Conservancy.
