Engineering alumnus Andrew Leopold (BS 1984 biomedical engineering), vice president, Medical Murray, Chicago, is recipient of a Dean's Award for

Distinguished Service and will present a special seminar at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, February 18, in Schaeffer Hall, 140.

The Dean's Award for Distinguished Service is presented to alumni and non-alumni for long-term exceptional commitment and self-sacrifice in advancing the principles and goals of the University of Iowa College of Engineering -- setting an extraordinary example for aspiring students, dedicated faculty and staff, and fellow alumni.

Leopold is a member of the Biomedical Engineering Advisory Board.
