Kathleen Shaughnessy

Kathleen Shaughnessy is a sixth-year English PhD student whose dissertation focuses on depictions of science and gender in 19th century imperial gothic fiction. She is originally from Greenville, Pennsylvania, and has greatly enjoyed her past half-decade or so of Midwestern life. Kath also counts knitting, crochet, embroidery, and playing with her misanthropic cat Frodo Fluffinbeans among her hobbies. She is an experienced writing tutor and is greatly looking forward to working with students at the Hanson Center!
