The 2024 Research Open House will take place on Thursday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the second floor of the Seamans Center.

During the event, students will exhibit posters illustrating aspects of their research, which judges will score via an online scoresheet powered by RocketJudge. It is not necessary for judges to have engineering expertise. Posters should be presented in such a way that the general public will be able to understand the scientific method and the significance of the results.

Poster authors should be present during their designated one-hour time slot to discuss their research with judges.

Upon arrival, judges should go to the check-in desk on the second floor of the Seamans Center to receive a link to an electronic ballot. Judging assignments will be auto-assigned based on the available time slots indicated on their registration. Attendees will also have the option to vote for any poster for the Popular Choice Award via text message.
