The mission of GDSC is to provide a wealth of opportunities to students of the University of Iowa who are interested in technology and computer science. We have two distinct directives we follow to achieve this goal. The first is to promote student involvement in hackathons, weekend-long problem-solving marathons held by institutions all over the globe. The second is to support fellow student's learning through group projects, mentorship, and technology demonstrations. We connect our members to alumni, local tech companies, and large corporations.
