The College of Engineering at the University of Iowa has joined KEEN: The Kern Entrepreneurial Engineering Network, a partnership of more than 60 colleges and universities across the United States focused on reaching “all undergraduate engineering students with an entrepreneurial mindset (EM) so they can create personal, economic, and societal value through a lifetime of meaningful work.”

Luke Farmer of Manchester was selected as the student speaker for the university’s College of Engineering, one of just 20 students to serve as either a speaker or national anthem singer.

Sudhakar M. Reddy, an emeritus professor of electrical and computer engineering who joined the University of Iowa College of Engineering in 1966, was named a Highly Ranked Scholar in two categories. Reddy was ranked the No. 10 scholar in computer-aided design and the No. 15 scholar in integrated circuits.
