National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE)
The mission of the National Society of Black Engineers is dedicated to increasing the number of black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact their community. Here at the University of Iowa, we extend this profound mission a little further. We focus on developing our members by holding various career development workshops. Some of which include resume workshops, networking events with local companies such as John Deere, and interview workshops. We believe this sort of exposure to professionals optimally prepares our members for the times when these events actually count.
