AWEA University of Iowa is a student chapter of AWEA (American Wind Energy Association), the national association. We are a student organization that promotes wind energy on the University of Iowa campus through projects, events, and professional development for careers in wind energy and other areas that focus on the environment and sustainability. AWEA hosts general meetings every Tuesday at 7:30 pm in G131 SC. During these general meetings, we will work on designing a model wind turbine. All majors are welcome, no experience is necessary as we teach everything you need to know.
