Omega Chi Epsilon is a national chemical engineering honors fraternity comprised of chemical engineers who have proven themselves academically as well as in leadership and character. The Alpha Phi chapter at the University of Iowa seeks to support a sense of community among chemical engineers in order to help make the difficult process of obtaining a degree in chemical engineering more enjoyable, and establish a network of talented individuals that will be beneficial as we move forward with our careers. We hold various help sessions to pass down helpful knowledge that is very useful for coursework, but may not be presented in class. We also plan extracurricular events in order to gather chemical engineers together for some fun outside of the engineering building.
