What is one piece of advice you would give to an incoming freshman?
Find ways to incorporate stress relieving activities into your everyday life so those supports are there when you really need them.

What organizations outside the college of engineering do you belong to?
Soviet of Women Engineers- High School Conference Chair; Food Pantry; Gardening Club.

How are you an "engineer ... and something more"?
I always make time to read everyday (even when I’m really busy) because I love it! I also play flute and piano. In general, cultivating interests outside of engineering help me become a better engineer.

What is your favorite part about being a student at The University of Iowa?
I love all of the opportunities that have been available to me. If I want to be a part of something, there’s always a way for me to do that.

Who is your favorite professor and why?
Professor Rundlett because she’s very down to earth and breaks down problems in an easy to understand way.

What has been your favorite course?
Intro Workshop to Creative Writing in Spanish.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time at The University of Iowa?
I love reading outside, hammocking on the Pentacrest, and going for long walks.
