The committee's 2023-2024 priorities are:
- Lead/coordinate TA training
- Host thank-you and networking events
- Coordinate with college on PULSE results and follow-up actions
- Develop senior student video series focused on early struggles in college, overcoming those struggles, and sense of belonging and purpose in engineering
The committee's 2022-2023 priorities were:
- Recruit, train, and support student ambassadors
- Enhance ongoing CBE-wide faculty discussion on adoption of research-based best practices for teaching
- Support creation of robust evidence-based recruiting and retention plans
- Create and monitor an anonymous virtual suggestion box
- Develop student support content for electronic kiosk
- Support department-wide recruiting efforts with easily deployable outreach kits
- Monitor efficacy of recent improvements regarding TA resources
- Host thank-you and networking events
