Student Ambassadors Program Goals

• To raise awareness about the needs of students from underrepresented backgrounds in engineering, including but not limited to: first generation, women, marginalized and minority racial and/or ethnic groups, LGBTQIA+, and low income.
• To work individually or collaboratively on initiatives to foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive engineering community.
• To train and gain experiences to develop cultural competence, to promote understanding and respect among all students, and to serve as role models in support of diversity and inclusion efforts
